Who we are ...

A community of nineteen hundred families
Who we are ... Who we are ... Who we are ...

Our parish was officially established on June 1, 1954 by the second bishop of our diocese ... Bishop Ralph Dignan.

We are gathered together in the west end of the city of Sault Ste. Marie.  We are a mixture of nationalities, many of whom are of Italian descent.

We service three elementary schools - St. Theresa, St. John, and St. Ann.  We also provide service to the Catholic residents at the Ontario Finnish Resthome, which lies within our parish boundaries.

Our Mission Statement:

"We, the people of St. Gregory's Community, rooted in Gospel Values and gifted by the Spirit, are committed to proclaim and build the kingdom of God."

Our Vision Statement:

"To journey together with Jesus"
